He lashed out at his political opponents for their criticism of the judiciary. His comments were also in reference to Nawaz Sharif’s announcement
of a movement that Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) would start against the “double standard of law”.

Earlier this week, Asma Jahangir also said that democracy and the supremacy of law run parallel to each other. She said this while responding to criticism against the judiciary.
She also said that the judiciary should not have to justify its actions before anyone.
